Today is actually my day off from everything. It's Brandon's birthday, so I took it off work and it's free day, but I woke up this morning and just HAD to run. My shins are killing me though, so I might end up not running tomorrow. Is rest all I can do?

its the pits!! esp when your mind and the rest of your body wants to run sooo bad!
this is why I loved biking.. i could push myself hard but NO SHIN SPLINTS! if I run for every cardio session.. shin splints is my middle name! do you stop and stretch in the middle of your run? after you warm up and after your run??? that might help..
you could always do pushups for cardio :) hehe..
