Oh yes I did!

I've been feeling really sluggish since I haven't been exercising or eating on program (that could also be attributed to hours spent outside in the near 100 degree weather here in Indy - not sure why it's so hot, but it's miserable sometimes), and I decided yesterday that I was just wasn't okay with feeling that way. Now, living at someone else's house and being broke makes it hard to eat anything other than what I'm given, so I've been dealing with the eating part and enjoying some of my favorite food places here in Indy. Yesterday, though, I was reading and decided I was going to run the half flight of stairs at Mike's house. Started warming up walking them and then Mike came home, and I asked if he wanted to run sprints with me, so we went to the back yard and ran sprints around the back yard. They have a pretty decent sized yard (about like yours Josha). But it was hard to run very far in a straight line, so after about 10 minutes of running back there, we decided to walk down to an open field to run some more (I was already ready to quit). Keep in mind it was the middle of the afternoon and HOT outside. So we ran in this field for another 5 minutes or so and I was exhausted and mentioned stopping to Mike, and he said, "Sara, just do 5 more. You can do it!" I really didn't think I'd make it, my sprints were looking more like jogs, but I put everything I had into it and did 5 more! It was awesome to have Mike there to encourage me. I ran so hard! Then he dumped ice water on me, hah! We came home and stretched. This time Mike was the one crying to stop. :-) I did my ab work - warmed up with hundreds (Pilates) then alternated between planks on my knees (really concentrating on working my abs) and doing leg lifts. It was such a great work out (I can feel my whole body today), and Mike and I felt wonderful afterward. Today is lower body, and I've already told Mike we're gonna have a great time with that too. Haha.
