Todays arm work out included the following:
1) Chest presses - 3 sets of 15 (12.5 lbs)
2) Flies - 1 set of 15 (5 lbs) - moving up to 7.5 next week!
3) Shoulder press - 3 sets of 15 ( 5 lbs)
4) Upward Rows - 1 set sf 15 (5 lbs) - moving up to 7.5 next week!
5) Kick backs - 3 sets of 15 (5 lbs)
6) Lying Tricep - 1 set of 15 (5 lbs)
I also biked down to the river and back and to work and back, so that was an added bonus!
All in all, I'd call it a success!
It's Friday! And tomorrow is a free day that I'm definitely looking forward to.
Not much else to write about today.

10 Minute Abs
That's what we've been doing for abs lately, although we've had every intention of doing the 30 minute video. At least we're perfecting the exercises on the 10 minute one! (Probably actually a good thing). I've noticed myself getting better and better the more we've done it, which makes me glad. We jumped rope this morning, which was good except that I didn't do nearly as well as I have been doing. I think I'm ready for a free day. Woohoo! Saturday is almost here! My most missed food so far: ice cream. I don't even eat it that often, but I started craving it today. Mmm. It's too bad we don't have Blue Bell here in CO. My body is pretty exhausted, and my chest is still sore from the last time we did upper body. I'm not sure what that means for tomorrow. I know, I'll work through the pain! :) It's actually not bad at all, but I am glad that tomorrow is the last day before free day. I need a day of rest. And really, I need some rest right now. So, goodnight!

I'd Call Today a Success...
...even if I only did one B. Josha and I lunged around the back yard this morning, and I debated doing biceps and back then too, but decided against it, thinking I might have some time later. Well, after working lunch at Luna, coming home and playing in the playroom with Kaegan for an hour and a half and then going back to Luna to work the dinner shift, I'm physically exhausted, and think it is okay to have only done one B today. The good news is, I checked out my pedometer when I got home from work, and WOW, 16,000+ steps! That doesn't include biking to and from work at lunch and playing in the playroom. It was very exciting for me, considering it was such a busy day, but I really was on my feet for most of it. That, plus the fact that Kaegan interacted with me for the entire time I was in the playroom make today incredibly fabulous, and to top it all off I got to do a few kind favors for some people at work tonight who haven't necessarily been the most positive towards me as of late. Let's just say their attitudes have changed drastically now. So for me, today was successful not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well, and that's what all of this is really about! Hooray! Now if I could only unwind and not be so excited, I might be able to get some rest. Haha.

What a Day to Begin!
Well, I suppose I should get this started, seeing as how I am leaving CO in three weeks or so and will need a way to keep up with Josha and all her amazing BFL success. I've been having a blast joining her the last couple of weeks. I don't think I realized before how much fun exercising can be, especially when you push yourself. I guess I'd always been content to do very little, and never really considered myself much of the weight lifting type. I've fallen in love with it though, and am excited to keep it up after I get back to Texas; although, I must say, it's going to be harder in the muggy awfulness of flat College Station. I'm going to have to get creative. Maybe I'll paint some mountains in my apartment to help. I'm hoping to get my new roommate and good friend Jenny on board with me. We'll see how that goes.
Today Josha and I did sprints on the driveway, which I found to be easier than I expected. I think I'm finally getting used to the air here. I'm planning on riding my bike to work today and back. I took a couple days off from the bike after doing lunges last week - thanks Josha! ;-) Haha.
Tonight is pilates ab work. And wow, what great day to start this - I just got my very own Body For Life book in the mail. As we say in Aggieland, Whoop!
